Died at 241?
[edit]- Marie de Luxembourg (1305 – April 1, 1546)
This is impossible. Seems, like two different Marie de Luxembourg was mixed in the article, but at least at birth and death dates. Can someone clarify this? --84.0.230.4 12:22, 17 July 2006 (UTC)
- I believe it was a confusion with Marie de Luxembourg, Queen of France. Or perhaps an April Fool's joke related to the death? Anyway, I removed the birthdate. Rigadoun (talk) 20:40, 14 December 2006 (UTC)
References? Joke?
[edit]Thoughts about deletion anyone? There are no references to back this up and it seems like the article is both fake and not noteworthy. I call a vote! —יודייוס (talk) 03:06, 3 February 2009 (UTC)
- Chill out! There was an error about birth & death dates (which remains, since the article states both that she died at 75 & 80. So far as I know, her birthdate & age at death remain unknown; dates given for that should be sourced or deleted). But the woman is well-known to history, both for having been the source of much of the wealth of the House of Bourbon that enabled it to rise to successfully claim the throne in the person of her great-grandson, Henri IV le Grand, and as the immediate ancestress of the leaders of both the Protestants and Catholics of France during the Reformation. Sources will eventually show up. FactStraight (talk) 01:42, 16 March 2009 (UTC)
